Petra Šatopletová

Co-founder, instructor of group and individual classes
My name is Petra and I have been professionally involved in dog training since 2020, but my journey began back in 2011, when I got my first dog. Since then, the world of dogs and their training has completely captivated me. I have had three shelter dogs, thanks to whom I have tried many canine disciplines – from agility and basic rescue training through protection work and dog trekking to working with fear-based aggression and reactivity. What has resonated with me the most, however, is clicker training and Hersenwerk, which I continue to focus on to this day.
At Hodný pes, I focus on training in real-life environments, group courses, and leading selected seminars. Given my personal experience, I especially enjoy working with shelter dogs, helping their owners understand their dog and find a common language.
The goal is to improve the lives of dogs and their owners, to show human–dog teams that joint training is fun for both, and that life as a whole is an opportunity to keep learning new things.
