Michaela Šídlová

Psychologist and therapist
Psychology has accompanied me throughout my life. I first studied the field of Counselling in Vocational Education at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, where my lifelong love for this discipline fully developed. Later, I fulfilled my dream and completed a single-subject degree in psychology at the Faculty of Social Studies in Vsetín.
I am currently continuing my education in a five-year psychotherapy training program accredited by the Czech Association for Psychotherapy. This training focuses on strategic and systemic cooperative and communication psychotherapy and hypnotherapy based on the work of Milton H. Erickson.
I have also completed a two-year course in Psychomotor Therapy for Seniors within the Erasmus+ program, crisis chat intervention training with the Safety Line, a self-experience program focused on Rogerian psychotherapy, and intensive self-experience practice at the Social Intervention Facility in Kladno.
My passion is finding balance and supporting clients in dealing with life’s challenges such as burnout, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and psychosomatic problems. I believe that the foundation of successful psychotherapy is the relationship between therapist and client, which makes it possible to discover new paths, hidden potential, and space for growth.
